A thoughtfully-planned Calgary neighbourhood next to Canada Olympic Park.
Welcome to Trinity Hills
Located along the historic Trans-Canada Highway with access to Sarcee Trail and Bowfort Road, Trinity Hills serves as the western gateway between Calgary and the Rocky Mountains. Located within the new community of Medicine Hill, shopping services and luxury apartments are bordered by modern townhomes, and seniors housing.
As the retail stores open, Trinity is estimated to generate over 2,000 jobs for Calgarians. Anchor stores within the community are Save-on-Foods, PetSmart, Bulk Barn, Dollarama, and Olympia Liquor, GoodLife, and Sofaland.
Public Engagement 2020-21
Recently there has been increased demand for residential in the City’s west end. Trinity applied to the City of Calgary for amendments to the Canada Olympic Park and Adjacent Lands Area Structure Plan (ASP). The proposed amendments reduce retail and office uses in favour of adding residential uses, all the while ensuring there is continued alignment with overall vision for the community.
As we pursued these amendments, we engaged our neighbours and stakeholders in the following ways:
Trinity’s application for amendments to the Canada Olympic Park and Adjacent Lands Area Structure Plan (ASP)
The proposed amendments will reduce retail and office uses in favour of adding residential uses, all the while ensuring there is continued alignment with overall vision for the community.
We have undertaken a Community Engagement program where we will provided our neighbours and stakeholders a summary and rationale of the proposed amendments to the ASP; arranged on-line COVID-friendly meetings and solicited feedback; and held an Public Open House. Through this process we’ve listened and adapted our proposed amendments based on what we heard from stakeholders and the City of Calgary.
The next step in this process is a review by Calgary Planning Commission (CPC) on May 20th. Please see the link below for the CPC Agenda and items related to Trinity"s application.
