Preserving the upper slopes for all Calgarians
OUR PLANS INCLUDE AN EXCEPTIONAL DEDICATION OF MORE THAN 160 ACRES FOR THE ENJOYMENT OF PRESENT AND FUTURE CALGARIANS
Trinity Hills is located on the lower portion of the slope while preserving and transferring the upper slopes to the City for the enjoyment of all Calgarians.
Parks and Open Space
Our vision for Trinity Hills includes an exceptional dedication of privately held lands to the City of Calgary for creation of a new Regional Park. These lands have been transferred to the City to be preserved and protected for the enjoyment of present and future generations. Of our original 260 acres, we are developing less than 100 acres – leaving about 160 acres as parkland and open spaces.
Preservation of Pathway System
We have preserved the existing pathways on the upper slopes and are building new local and regional trails as well as cycle lanes within the Trinity Hills community. Through this exercise we will achieve the same kilometres of trails that existed prior to development while improving access to this special area for all to enjoy.
